general description

Four perfectly well-formed crystals of zvyagintsevite are brought together under this inventory number. They are gray with a metallic lustre, more or less cubic. The bigger one is 0.7 x 0.7 x 0.2 cm and weighs 1,64 grames, the others weigh 0.45 gr; 0.447gr and 0.294 gr.

These samples come from Konder in Russia. The Museum national d’Histoire naturelle could obtain this specimen thanks to support from Total. It is kept today in the storage rooms of the collections of the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle (i.e., not yet displayed to the public).
