general description

Crystals are prismatic and copper-red, tehy measure about 1 cm length . The sample measures 7.3 x 3.7 x 2 cm.

This arborescent sample of native copper comes from Hougton canton, Michigan, USA. It has been bought in 1908 to a commercial Mr. Boubée.

It is kept in the reserves of the collections of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (i.e., not yet displayed to the public).
