general description

This adamite displays encrustations with spherical nodules. It is bluish green in color with a vitreous glare. The sample measures 10 x 6.5 cm.

It arises from Laurium in Greece. This sample comes from the Eugene Patrin collection, which was donated in 1899. It is kept today in the storage rooms of the collections of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (i.e., not yet displayed to the public).
