Salt crystals
How to proceed?
1.
In a dosing glass, measure 100 ml of water
2.
With a balance, measure 30 grams of salt
3.
Dissolve salt in water (this can take a long time to complete because water gets saturated in salt)
4.
Pour this mixture into a saucer
5.
Leave the saucer in sunlight or near a heat source
6.
The mixture between salt and water forces a dissolution: water is the solvent
7.
Because of sunlight or heating, the solvent will evaporate
8.
The salt will remain in the saucer as beautiful tiny square crystals
